The primary function of the JRO is to identify the bottlenecks that hamper progress and create innovative solutions that accelerate the initiation and delivery of translational and clinical research. The JRO has identified the following three areas as its inaugural efficiency programmes:
(i) Research Sponsorship; (ii) Contracting; (iii) Research Management Systems.
